Equally committed to both employees and customers, Fischer is confident that right now he and his team are doing all that they can to further the success of the dealerships. “We have a great business that is very profitable,” says Fischer. And so as Harley-Davidson prepares to enter its 100th year, Scott Fischer is still doing the very thing that started him out on the road to success — racing. Only now, instead of motorcycles, its sports cars as they have the “same kind of thrill as racing a motorcycle.” However, in this new phase of Fischer’s life racing has taken a back seat to other, more important, things. “When I was young, racing was a priority, nothing else was important. Now,” he says, “racing is secondary and business, next to family, is number one.”
