National Marketing Executive Speaks at Labor Law Seminar

A nationally acclaimed advertising and marketing executive will be the luncheon speaker at Thursday's seminar on labor and employment law held at Edison Community College.

Phillip Nulman, FDN&P, Marketing and Public Relations will share information regarding issues of importance to hiring, motivating and keeping employees in today's work environment. Nulman will share data from a national survey that identifies key forces that drive decision-making in America's workplace.

Nulman is the author of Start Up Marketing: An Entrepreneur's Guide to Launching, Advertising, Marketing and Promoting Your Business. He is also author of Just Say Yes! Extreme Customer Service and a soon to be released title Brainding. Nulman is frequently seen on MSNBC, CNN and Network News in addition to being heard on hundreds of radio stations across the country. He is a featured writer for many celebrated magazines and has been written about in newspapers from coast to coast.

The Chamber of Southwest Florida and Edison Community College in partnership with several local chambers of commerce and business associations in the region will host a full day seminar on labor and employment law presented by Kunkel, Miller & Hament on March 6.

Joining the regional chamber and college are 10 other regional business organizations including: Southwest Regional Manufacturers Association, The Realtors Association of Greater Fort Myers and the Beach, The Lee Chamber of Commerce, The North Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce, The Lehigh Acres Chamber of Commerce, The Southwest Florida Hispanic Chamber, The Cape Coral Construction Industry Association, The Lee County Medical Society, The Charlotte County Economic Development Office and the Marco Island Area Chamber of Commerce.

In addition to a panel of leading labor attorneys, a nationally recognized wage and hour expert will be a featured speaker. The presenters are seasoned employment law defense attorneys who will incorporate into the seminar litigation "war stories" and lessons learned by employers.

The Florida Employment Law Trilogy is an 8 AM to 5 PM educational seminar designed for small business owners, human resource professionals, managers and supervisors. The seminar will cover general employment law as well as practical advice and solutions for complex issues that employers often face. Schultz, Chaipel & Co. will host a continental breakfast for all attendees.

Participants will learn the preventive approach to labor relations and employment law issues and how to preserve employers' legal rights. The full day seminar includes lunch and each attendee will receive a copy of a special edition Labor Law Reference Manual prepared for this program. CE credit is being offered.
