agencies and help organizations.

The site, www.CivilSafety.com, by Fort Myers-based DotAnything.com, offers links in an all-in-one-page format for readers who want to stay informed about

terrorism.

Readers click the item that interests them to go directly to the site that

published the article or to the government agency requested. News feeds

originate from all over the world, including Israel, China, New Zealand,

Africa, Malaysia, India and the United States, and update continuously.

The site also has the current terrorism threat synchronized with U.S.

Department of Homeland Security computers. Homeland Security Secretary Tom

Ridge has advised all citizens to become knowledgeable about terrorism, make

an emergency plan and assemble a basic survival kit.

This is not DotAnything¹s first foray into Web sites designed as an

all-in-one public service resource. The company also owns and operates www.USGovernment.com, a revenue-free

research site offering links to a wide variety of government agencies,

operations and activities.

And in October 2001, DotAnything launched 09-11-01.com, a memorial to all

the terrorist victims of the World Trade Center attack. The site lists

victims' names, has an area for readers to write e-mail condolences, and

offers a service whereby someone who is a relative of a victim can request

to be the custodian of the victim's online record, updating it with photos

and other remembrances.

"This was something I could do to give lasting recognition to the people

who paid the ultimate price," Toughill said.
