Local chapter hosts program to improve public relations efforts

The Gulf Coast Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America will host a workshop and luncheon from 9 a.m. to noon on Friday, June 20 at Northern Trust Bank, fourth floor, Larson Room, Naples.

Sam Harrison brings his national experience for an engaging workshop, "Communications Boot Camp: Fired-up PR: How to Ignite Your Creative Confidence and Spark Bright, Bold Ideas."

His clients have included American Express, the NFL, Hallmark and Microsoft. Harrison will present a five-step methodology for generating bigger and better ideas on demand, and boosting creative ROI -- return on investment.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with the program starting at 9 a.m. Tickets are $50 per person and includes lunch and the luncheon session.

Tickets for the luncheon session only are $22 for PRSA members and $27 for non-members. For the luncheon session, Harrison will discuss "Steering Clear of Idea Roadblocks and Creative Road Kill."
