By: Editorial Staff

Aug. 29, 2003

Richard McCormick, vice president of Heidt & Associates, is pleased to announce that WCI Communities, Inc. has awarded the firm a contract to perform all civil engineering design, surveying, construction services, and permitting for the community of Tuscany Reserve.

The value of the site work is expected to exceed $50 million.

Tuscany Reserve is a 461-acre luxury gated community currently under development at 16800 Livingston Road in Naples. The community will feature single-family models available on three lot sizes in cul-de-sac neighborhoods with views of golf course fairways, picturesque lakes, and natural preserves. It will also feature a Tuscan-style town square and unique village setting. A total of 312 homes are expected to complete the community.

Major amenities include a private 18-hole championship golf course designed by Greg Norman and Pete Dye, with a 29,000-square-foot clubhouse complex, which will feature a spa, fitness rooms, guest suites, a wine cellar, and more. Natural amenities are more than 61 acres of natural preserves and 60 acres of lakes, waterfalls and streams.
