FindWhat.com continues financial success

Internet company turns in record third quarter

Fort Myers-based FindWhat.com, a developer and provider of performance-based marketing services for the Internet, reported record third-quarter financial results.

FindWhat.com posted third-quarter net income of $2.8 million, or 12 cents per diluted share, which reflected an effective tax rate of 38 percent. In the same perdio last year, profits were $1.8 million, or 9 cents per diluted share, which reflected an effective tax rate of 39 percent.

Revenue in the third quarter increased 62 percent versus the third quarter in 2002, and was more than $300,000 ahead of the company's previously announced projections.

FindWhat.com has increased revenue sequentially for 16 consecutive quarters.
