JA names Hall of Fame advisory board

Southwest Florida chapter to choose 2004 Lee County laureates

The Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida annouced the advisory board for the Lee County Business Leadership Hall of Fame 2004.

Members are: William M. Blevins of Wachovia Bank; Ron Ciani of Gulfshore Business Magazine; Randall P. Henderson Jr. of Corbin Henderson Company; Carol Hudler of The News-Press; Charles K. Idelson of Investors' Security Trust Company; Marietta Mudgett of Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce; Steven H. Pontius of Waterman Broadcasting; and Victoria Stephan, president of the local Junior Achievement.

Richard Durnwald of Durnwald & Associates/ NMFN is chair of the advisory board and Bob Bassett of Colonial Bank is co-chair. Consulting past Hall of Fame laureates are Gay R. Thompson of Cement Industries, Inc. and Gary V. Trippe of Oswald Trippe & Co., Inc.

The advisory board will select the laureates to be honored at the Lee County Business Leadership Hall of Fame in May 2004. Laureates are chosen based upon their entrepreneurial achievements, adherence to high ethical and moral principles, ability to serve as a role model for youth and business peers and successful accomplishments in the community.
