Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida elected its new board of directors for 2009-10. They are: Chairman Connie Jones, School District of Lee County; Chair-elect Howard Finch, Florida Gulf Coast University; Second Chair-elect David Hall, Community Bank of Southwest Florida; Secretary, Gerry Poppe, Waterman Broadcasting; and Past Chair Craig Sherman, Bank of Florida Corp.

The Lee County Medical Society accepted four new members. They are: Dr. Charles Camisa,Riverchase,

dermatology; Dr. James Bynum, A. Kagan, orthopedics; Dr. James E. Kursch, Total Senior Mobile Physicians; and Dr. Dennis O. Sagini, Joint Implant Surgeons of Florida.

Lee A. Meyers, principal and owner of Fort Myers Capital Accounting Group, was named to the board of directors of the Gulf Coast Humane Society.

The Women’s Council of Realtors Fort Myers Chapter announced its 2010 members. They are: President Marge Bennett, President-elect Arvey Krise, Vice President Lois Feng, Treasurer Cathy Mann-Seiple and Secretary Patricia Huether.

Chocolatier Norman Love was honored as one of the 2009 Top 10 Chocolatiers in North America by Dessert Professional Magazine.
