The Naples International Film Festival’s board of directors for its 2011 event are: Tim Rowe, president; Ellen Goldberg, vice president; Blake Owen, treasurer; Maury Daley, secretary; Rowan Samuel, past president. The board of directors are: Chuck Ardezzone, Kim Caronchi, David Diamond, Shannon Franklin, John Goede, Lisa Lipman, Chengi Muyambo, Frank Russen, Ashley Solomon and Jill Wheeler.

Professor Jo Ann Lewin of Edison State College received special recognition by the Florida State Board of Education for her role in developing the Postsecondary Education Readiness Test.

Jason Korn was elected chairman of the board of directors of the Edison State College Foundation.

Hazelden honored Collier County chief of corrections Scott Salley for his extensive role over the years in the prevention and treatment of addiction.

Hodges University announced Tamika Seaton, a planning technician for the Collier Metropolitan Planning Organization, as the recipient of the 2011 Founders’ award.

J. C. “Chick” Heithaus has been elected to Bayshore Cultural and Performing Arts Center board of trustees.
