Glassdoor—which holds a growing database of more than 8 million company reviews, CEO approval ratings, salary reports, interview reviews and questions, benefits reviews and more—on Dec. 9 released its 2016 list of Best Places to Work in the U.S. The results were compiled by employee reviews and are divided by the top 50 large companies and top 50 small- to medium-sized companies.

Passionate, intelligent, friendly and collaborative colleagues
Good work/life balance
Transparent leadership
Growth opportunities
Perks (free food, gyms, etc.)
