RUSSIA OFFICE
>>Allyn International Services Inc.
(www.allynintl.com) has opened an office in Moscow. This location will offer domestic Russian transport and customs facilitation support in addition to international transportation, sourcing management, packaging services and warehousing. The office will use ALA, Allyn’s Web-based proprietary transportation management system, to execute and manage all shipments. Fort Myers-based Allyn is a privately owned firm that provides supply-chain management and tax and customs consulting.

EASTERN COLLIER TOUR
>>The Economic Development Council of Collier County
will host an “Industry & Opportunity Tour” on Jan. 18, showcasing opportunities for local businesses to expand or relocate to Eastern Collier County. Guests will learn about the Immokalee Area Master Plan, the Florida Tradeport/Immokalee Regional Airport Master Plan, available sites, workforce housing, education facilities, program offerings and other topics. Attendees will also tour the town of Ave Maria and receive an update on the plans for the new town of Big Cypress. The bus tour will depart the EDC offices at 3050 North Horseshoe Drive, Suite 120, at 8:45 a.m. and will return by 3 p.m. Tickets are $20 per person, which includes lunch.
