Chico ’s FAS Inc. and Health Associates will speak at an investment forum sponsored by Florida Gulf Coast University’s Lutgert College of Business and the CFA Society of Naples. The execs will cover a variety of topics relating to the economic outlook for their respective industries and firms. FGCU president Wilson G. Bradshaw will open the session with brief welcome address. Vinny Catalano, a former president of the New York Society of Security Analysts and founder of Blue Marble Research, will moderate the panel presentation. FOX CRYSTAL

(www.foxonline.com) has added another crystal to its line of products. The FQ3225B, an ultra-low-profile, all-quartz crystal, can be used in a wide range of portable and battery-powered applications, including MP3 and CD/DVD players, cell phones, radios (FM, AM, satellite), modems and routers. Crystals are electronic timing components that generate frequency signals in devices such as computers, wireless modems, electronic printers and music synthesizers. In computers, crystals are an important factor in determining “clock speed,” the rate at which a computer performs tasks.

LEHIGH COMMERCIAL CENTER
>>A new commercial center
is going up in Lehigh Acres. Developed by I&E Homes, TownLakes Square consists of 21 acres of commercial parcels adjacent to the TownLakes residential development and is being built in three phases. Phase I includes the two-story I&E Building, Lotus Salon and Spa, a Caribbean restaurant, a miniature golf course, and doctors’ offices, and Phase II features TownLakes Self Storage. Phase III is to be determined. TownLakes Square is at Williams Avenue and East Sixth Street.

(www.archinc.com) has hired William Wyatt as a project manager in its Fort Myers office. Wyatt has several years of experience in the field, including more than six years in the Army.
