CIRCUIT CITY TO SHUTTER NAPLES STORE  
>>Circuit City's store in Naples, at 13585 Tamiami Trail N., is among 155 U.S. stores the company (www.circuitcity.com) is closing to improve its financial performance. Closing sales begin tomorrow and are expected to be completed by year end.

FEDS SAY RIVERSIDE BANK MUST MAKE CHANGES  
>>Riverside Bank of the Gulf Coast must retain an independent consultant to review staffing needs and the qualifications and performance of all senior managers, submit written plans to strengthen credit risk management practices and strengthen board oversight and cannot extend or renew credit to certain borrowers, as part of an agreement with the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta and the Florida Office of Financial Regulation's Division of Financial Institutions. The Fed has done similar agreements with other banks nationally, including Orion Bancorp. Cape Coral-based Riverside and its holding company also must create a committee to monitor its compliance with the agreement. MIVA SCHEDULES THIRD QUARTER EARNINGS RELEASE  
>>Fort Myers-based MIVA (NASDAQ: MIVA), a global digital media company, plans to release its third quarter 2008 financial results on Monday, after the market closes.

SOUTHWEST ADDS DAILY NONSTOP FLIGHT TO ST. LOUIS  
>>Southwest Airlines has started daily nonstop service from Fort Myers to St. Louis, the sixth nonstop destination offered by the airline to/from Southwest Florida International Airport (www.flylcpa.com). The daily flight leaves Fort Myers at 3:25 p.m. and arrives at 5:10 p.m.

RECRUITING FIRM LAUNCHED IN FORT MYERS  
>>H.L.T. Enterprises, a national recruiting firm specializing in the retail and supply sectors of the petroleum and energy industries, has opened at 19657 Vintage Trace Circle in Fort Myers (www.hltenterprises.com). The firm is led by Haskel Thompson, a 30-year veteran of the executive recruiting industry.
