40 under 40: Where are they Now?

Catching up with 2013 40-under-40 honoree Stefanie Ink-
Edwards, director of development and community for Community Cooperative.

Stefanie Ink-
Edwards

Class of 2013 honoree Stefanie Ink-
Edwards had her hands full back then. Beyond
her position as financial adviser for Alliance
Financial Group, she and her husband, Dustin,
had launched the South Florida Mud Run to
benefit the Golisano’s Children’s Hospital of
Southwest Florida. Plus, they had two young children. The fundraiser became
a bit straining, so the couple reluctantly stopped organizing it in 2014. But Stefanie’s commitment to charitable work led to her current post as director of development and community for Community Cooperative, a Fort Myers nonprofit that fights homelessness and hunger. “I feel with my [past] volunteer commitments, this was a call to service,” she says. “My heart is more developed now. My community needed me more than the industry I was in.”
