Cotrenia Hood served as vice president of business development at the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce when she named to the class of 2013.
Two years later, she took a development role at Youth Haven, a nonprofit Naples-based emergency and residential shelter for boys and girls ages 6 to 18.
In 2018, she founded Steel Bleu (the spelling is a nod to her Louisiana roots), a consulting firm that provides ways to improve organizational productivity and offers executive coaching.
“I just knew I needed to get back into business development,” says the mother of two. “I [knew] I could do this on my own.” She operates in Collier and Lee counties.
