DUPRE NAMED CONDITIONED AIR PRESIDENT, CEO

Conditioned Air Company of Naples has promoted Tim Dupre to president and CEO. Dupre will assume the CEO responsibilities from long-time Conditioned Air CEO and Partner Theo Etzel III, who will provide continued leadership to the company as chairman. Conditioned Air is the region’s largest air-conditioning contracting and service firm with more than 345 employees across Collier, Lee, Charlotte, Sarasota and Manatee counties. A 20-year veteran of Conditioned Air, Dupre learned the basics of general construction working for his grandfather, who was a local contractor. He joined Conditioned Air after high school and worked his way up through the firm working on several different types of projects, like custom homes, multi-family, light commercial and production housing. In 2011, Dupre was promoted to general manager of the firm’s Sarasota Division, boosting its local employment from less than 10 to 56. Dupre has served as president and COO since 2015, working closely with Etzel on a number of strategic and growth initiatives.

PHYSICIANS REGIONAL SLEEP CENTER EARNS ACCREDITATION

Physicians Regional – Collier Boulevard recently received program accreditation from the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM). To receive accreditation, a sleep center must meet or exceed all standards for professional health care as designated by the AASM.  These standards address core areas such as personnel, facility and equipment, policies and procedures, data acquisition, patient care and quality assurance.  Additionally, the sleep center’s goals must be clearly stated and include plans for positively affecting the quality of medical care in the community it serves. AASM accredited a sleep disorders center for the first time in 1977.  Today, there are more than 2,500 AASM-accredited sleep centers across the country. The Physicians Regional Sleep Center is directed by Dr. Sadiq Al-Nakeeb, a board-certified sleep medicine, pulmonary disease and critical care medicine physician with Physicians Regional Medical Group, and Eva Fish, a registered respiratory therapist and neonatal and pediatric specialist. UNITED WAY SELECTS CAMPAIGN CHAIRS 

The United Way of Lee, Hendry, Glades, and Okeechobee has selected 2018-19 United Way Campaign Chairs Linda Doggett, and Robert Shearman.  The goal for the new campaign will be $10.3 million, a 3 percent increase over what was raised for the previous campaign. Doggett is the Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller for Lee County and a native Floridian. Doggett is a United Way board member and allocations team leader. She has been active in many court related organizations, including the Florida Commission for Access to Civil Justice. She is on the Florida Court Clerks and Comptrollers organization board of directors. Shearman is a board-certified civil trial attorney with Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt P.A, and concentrates on defense of tort, civil rights and real estate law.  He is a United Way board member, allocations team leader and ReadingPal.  Shearman has been a Big Brother and trustee of the Calusa Nature Center and Planetarium. 

ATTORNEY EARNS FLORIDA BAR CERTIFICATION

Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt P.A. attorney Suzanne Boy has become Florida Bar board-certified in labor and employment law. Certification is the highest level of evaluation by The Florida Bar. Only 7 percent of eligible Florida lawyers are board certified. Boy assists clients with all aspects of employment-related litigation, claims, and counseling. She frequently conducts workplace training sessions and speaks to businesses and professional groups on various employment matters. Boy is the editor of the Southwest Florida Employment Law Blog and chair of the firm’s HR Law & Solutions annual conference. Boy has been recognized as one of Gulfshore Business magazine’s 40 under 40 and Business Observer‘s 40 under 40 and by Florida Super Lawyers magazine every year since 2010. She also holds the highest AV rating by Martindale Hubbell. Boy is the legislative director for the SHRM SWFL board of directors. She is a graduate of the 2012 Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce Leadership class and serves on its board of directors, in addition to being a trustee for Canterbury School. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and her law degree from Stetson University College of Law.

ONLINE DESIGN, BRANDING EVENT SCHEDULED

SCORE Naples will host “Principles of Online Design & Branding” from 9:30-11:30 a.m. on July 21 at the Naples Accelerator. Marketing Momentum LLC owner Barbara Langdon will present the event. BOUCHARD JOINS KTS HOMES

Zachary J. Bouchard has joined Naples-based KTS Homes as vice president of marketing and business development. Bouchard began his career as the marketing and communications coordinator for Keller Williams Elite Realty in Bonita Springs. He was also the director of marketing for Betty Maclean Travel in Naples. Prior to joining KTS Homes, Bouchard was the marketing manager for Lennar Homes in Fort Myers, where he prepared and produced proposals, served as editor for all marketing materials, managed brand strategies, conducted market analysis, managed all digital marketing and social media, and maintained the company’s website, among other duties. In addition to his position with KTS Homes, Bouchard volunteers with the Special Equestrians of Naples, LARC in Fort Myers, and the Lee Building Industry Association Builder’s Care program. Bouchard is a native of Naples and attended both Barron Collier and Gulf Coast high schools. He holds a bachelor of arts degree in communications and marketing from Florida Gulf Coast University.

LANI KAI CELEBRATES 40 YEARS

Avow Expands Retails Shop

Avow has leased a second location for its Treasures Resale Boutique in the Village Plaza Shopping Center in Naples, to raise funds for its nonprofit hospice and palliative care programs. Located at 2369 and 2371 Davis Blvd., the combined spaces will provide retail space for clothing, furniture, household items, books, artwork, and more.
