Advances Components International LLC (ACI) is planning to create 42 additional jobs in Lee County by expanding operations locally.

ACI is a subsidiary of Techspace Aero S.A., a Safran group company, which produces oil reservoirs used in commercial aircraft. The company is investing $11.6 million to develop its existing facility and purchase equipment.

The Lee County Board of County Commissioners has approved a $42,000 tax incentive for the expansion. According to a press release from the Lee County Government office, “the local incentives are a 20 percent match of total tax incentives of $210,000, with the remainder paid by the State of Florida.”

Lee County has housed ACI since 2010. The company currently employs 36 people locally. Safran affiliates employ more than 300 in Florida.
