Ave Maria, the fastest-growing community in Southwest Florida, is getting more local businesses.

Meltz, an ice cream shop owned by the Stocton family, who are residents, celebrates its grand opening noon to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, at 5076 Annunciation Circle, Suite 101.

Blue, a Goodwill boutique, will open its second Southwest Florida location in Suite 103 of the same retail strip. Blue specializes in higher-end clothing, shoes and designer merchandise for men, women and children. Its first location is in downtown Fort Myers.
