FL Star has named Norman Mahanke as construction manager with responsibility to oversee the construction of the company’s Golden Gate Estate Homes and construction of Vanderbilt Apartments, a new apartment community on Vanderbilt Beach Road.
Mahanke has more than 17 years of experience in the construction industry, beginning his career as lead field superintendent and construction manager with Centex Homes in Naples. He has worked as a construction superintendent with Admiralty Point Condominiums and as construction manager for Lennar Homes.
Mahanke also served as a construction superintendent for DR Horton from 2018 to 2021. Immediately before joining FL Star, Manake was superintendent for CSCI Concrete on various building sites.
He participated in Centex Homes Field Management Training Program and holds numerous industry certifications, including those from North Central Michigan College.
