Florida’s barbershops and salons permitted to reopen today

Florida is allowing hair salons, barbershops and nail salons to reopen today (Monday) with enhanced safety protocols for all counties in Phase 1 of the state’s reopening plan. Effective Friday, most campgrounds, primitive campsites and trailheads located on state forests reopened with limited capacity, according to the Florida Forest Service. Gov. Ron DeSantis said Palm Beach County can now move into Phase 1 of the reopening plan. Also on Friday afternoon, the governor extended Florida’s state of emergency another 60 days because of the pandemic. To read the order, click here.
