Effective today (Friday), Southwest Florida and most of the state may reopen bars, movie theaters, playhouses and bowling alleys at 50% capacity while gyms and retail stores can operate at full capacity. Tattoo shops, tanning salons and massage parlors also may reopen today. The Sunshine State’s Phase 2 reopening includes all but Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties, where coronavirus statistics have been the worst in the state, Gov. Ron DeSantis said this week.
