Florida gas prices rose 10 cents last week before falling 3 cents over the weekend, ending June 8 at $3.09 per gallon — the same as the previous week. AAA says prices have hovered within a 30-cent range since September. Oil prices rose 6% last week due to global tensions, strong U.S. economic indicators, and supply issues, including disruptions from the Canadian wildfires. In Southwest Florida on June 9, Charlotte County had the lowest average price at $3.05 per gallon, followed by Lee County ($3.11) and Collier County ($3.16).
