Collier County is considering privatizing the operations of Sun-N-Fun Lagoon Water Park, which is currently closed for major repairs. Repairs to the lazy river, stairs to the water slide and pumps will cost millions. Collier County commissioners voted to issue an invitation to negotiate a lease for the park. Most of the park won’t be up and running until November or later, WINK News reports.
