Fort Myers Beach Local Planning Agency approved a proposal to transform a vacant lot along Estero Boulevard into a food truck park, sparking concern among Fort Myers Beach residents. The lot, previously a strip mall before Hurricane Ian, is located across from a 7-Eleven. The proposal seeks to amend zoning to allow mobile vendors at 2500, 2510 and 2518 Estero Blvd. and 2543 Cottage Ave. Fort Myers Beach Town Council will vote on the proposal March 3, WINK News reports.
