New nonstop routes from Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Myers to Austin, Texas, and Wilmington, Delaware, began Friday. American Airlines’ service to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is the first time RSW will have daily nonstop flights to Austin. The flight to Austin will take off at 6:17 p.m. daily and the return flight to RSW will take off at 2:17 p.m. Central Standard Time. Avelo Airlines added its third route from RSW to Wilmington, which will operate on Mondays and Fridays.
