Pathways Early Education Center of Immokalee installed a shade structure over its playground. The new structure was supported by a $50,000 grant from The United Way of Collier County and the Keys and an $8,000 grant from the American Academy of Dermatology. The newly installed shade system ensures that children in the Pathways program will be protected from the sun during outdoor play and physical activity.
