Land Solutions has established LSI Companies to operate as the umbrella organization serving the company’s homebuilder, developer, landowner and investment clients.

LSI Cos. will function as the parent company for Land Solutions and Development Solutions, as well as the company’s newly established commercial property division, LSI Commercial, which focuses on the acquisition and disposition of commercial properties and land suitable for commercial development.

Justin Thibaut (pictured left), who has previously served as director of sales at Land Solutions, has been appointed chief operating officer for LSI Cos., overseeing the daily operations of all three subsidiaries. Randy Thibaut will continue to serve as chief executive officer of LSI Cos.


Sprickit Digital, a new digital marketing agency, has launched in Naples. The digital marketing agency offers programmatic advertising, website design, email marketing, content marketing, storytelling, social media management services, search engine optimization (SEO) and pay per click (PPC) services.

Backed by a team of design professionals and digital analysts, Sprickit is has goals to grow throughout the southeastern U.S. Wilson Creative Group spearheaded the foundation of Sprickit.


The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce’s March membership luncheon will focus on postsecondary education and training in Southwest Florida. The luncheon starts at 11:30 a.m. on March 21 at the Crowne Plaza at Bell Tower in Fort Myers.

Leaders of the FutureMakers Coalition will discuss the program’s progress in boosting education levels among young adults in Collier, Lee, Charlotte, Hendry and Glades counties.

Speakers include Tessa LeSage, director of social innovation and sustainability at the Southwest Florida Community Foundation; Colleen DePasquale, president and CEO of the Greater Fort Myers Chamber; and Brent Kettler, director of economic research and strategy at EnSite.

Advanced Aesthetic Solutions has added Ariane Mariano as the med-spa’s new clinical esthetician. Mariano has 30 years of experience in the skin care and beauty industry. She is skilled in treating diverse skin types and conditions using the most advanced skin care systems, latest technologies and cutting-edge ingredients in the skin care industry.

Her areas of expertise include microdermabrasion, hair removal, brow-shaping artistry, advanced chemical peels, anti-aging treatments and advanced exfoliation techniques including dermaplaning. Mariano is now taking appointments at the Fort Myers-based medical spa.

Mariano graduated from Christine Valmy International School in New York City and received further education and training from the International Dermal Institute in New York. She most recently earned certification as a microblading artist from Phibrows Academy and as an Elleebana Lash Lift artist. 


John Henry, a positive force for The Immokalee Foundation for more than a decade, recently was named a 2018 Distinguished Volunteer of the Year by the Collier-Lee Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

Henry, an emeritus board member for The Immokalee Foundation, has devoted countless hours of time to mentoring several students who have benefited significantly from his encouragement and guidance.

A tireless volunteer fundraiser for the foundation’s scholarship programs, Henry has helped to ensure that young people in Immokalee develop successfully both in the community and in their careers. In nominating Henry, the foundation chose “positive” as one word to describe him.


Mother-daughter team Shelley and Sarah Anderson recently opened Blush Salon at 26381 S. Tamiami Trail, Suite 110, in Bonita Springs. Shelley came out of retirement from a career in banking to work on this endeavor with Sarah, who has a salon background. They purchased the storefront that was previously Salon Alfredo in North Bay Village to open a full-service salon offering hair, skin and nail treatments.


Mac n' Cheese Challenge to benefit Make-A-Wish Southern Florida

The Make-A-Wish Southern Florida Youth Leadership Committee will host a Mac n' Cheese Challenge from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 31 at Venue Naples. Around a dozen chefs will be showcasing their most delicious take on this classic comfort food. Guests can enjoy mac n' cheese samples and vote for their favorite recipe inside while listening to music and visiting the vendor booths outside.

STARability raises record amount at STAR Gala

The STARability Foundation raised a record-breaking $750,000 to transform the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities at its 2019 STAR Gala, held on March 9 under the Grand Lawn Pavilion at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort.

A sold-out crowd of nearly 500 supporters attended, and STARability bumped its proceeds up 52 percent from last year’s total of $490,000 and nearly doubled the total of $335,000 raised in 2017.

The event featured dinner, aerial performances, an auction and more. A short video produced by Emmy-award-winning Manta Films about STARability’s programs was also shown at the event.

Preferred Travel of Naples raises $26,100 for The Immokalee Foundation

Preferred Travel of Naples held its annual travel event on Feb. 18 at Club Pelican Bay with more than 450 guests in attendance. Preferred Travel selects a nonprofit charitable organization to benefit from their travel event each year, and this past event raised $26,100 to benefit The Immokalee Foundation.

The Dazzling World of Travel” marked the 12th year for Preferred Travel’s annual extravaganza and the 12th year for benefiting local nonprofit organizations. This year’s donation brings the combined total amount donated to local nonprofits to more than $200,000.
