A 5,134 square-foot Isles of Capri home sold April 14 for $5.6 million, the highest-priced residential sale ever recorded in the island community, according to Premier Sotheby’s International Realty officials.
ML Mead with Premier Sotheby’s represented the seller from Naples, and Maurice Cossairt with Edgewater Realty represented the buyer.
The waterfront property built in 2012 at 8 Pelican St. W., about two miles north of Marco Island, was placed on the market in October and was pending sale shortly after and closed six months later.
“This custom estate highlights the best of Naples’ waterfront lifestyle in a sought-after coastal community,” Mead said.
The three-story estate has four bedrooms, six bathrooms, a home theater, media room, loft, game room, two levels of lanais, an eight-car garage, in-ground pool, spa and outdoor summer kitchen. The home also has a dock with two boat lifts, which provides direct access to the Gulf of Mexico.
“Its elegant features, spectacular outdoor living spaces and prime island location appealed to the discerning buyer seeking a private retreat near an array of countless cultural offerings,” Mead said of the Isles of Capri home.
The property last sold in 2015 for $3.2 million.
A nearly 3-acre lot zoned for residential or commercial use at 300 Capri Blvd. on Isles of Capri sold April 15 for $10 million.
