Lehne Burger launched a new location on Dec. 23 at Coconut Point in Estero. The new family-friendly restaurant opened next to the regional mall’s movie theater in the former space of BurgerIM and Johnny Rockets. The new American diner welcomes patrons to customize their own burgers with more than 85,000 possible combinations of burgers, buns, cheeses and toppings, including some vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options. The local fast-casual concept started in 2014 on Fort Myers Beach, but founder Mike Lehne sold it and opened a new burger joint in south Cape Coral in 2018. Now, he has expanded to Estero. Also new at Coconut Point, Vampire Penguin Shaved Snow & Desserts recently opened next to Starbucks. Lehne Burger, 23111 Fashion Drive, Suite 111, is open from noon to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from noon to 7 p.m. Sunday.
