Beginning today, shoppers in Walmart, Sam’s Club, CVS pharmacy, Walgreens, BJ’s Wholesale Club and Kohl’s stores nationwide are required to wear face masks because of the coronavirus pandemic. Starting Tuesday, Florida-based Publix will require customers to wear face coverings while shopping in its supermarkets, while Kroger mandates the same beginning Wednesday. Last week, Starbucks and Best Buy started requiring all shoppers to wear face masks in their stores. Starting Aug. 1, Target will require all guests to wear masks or face coverings in all of its stores. Face masks have been mandatory since May in Apple and Costco stores.
