NAPLES SOAP CO. GOES NATIONWIDE WITH DILLARD’S

Naples Soap Co. has partnered with Dillard’s Inc. A selection of the company’s top-selling bath bombs will soon be available in 261 stores in 29 states and online at Dillards.com. The bath bombs will be sold in 12 scents. In addition, a bath bomb trio set will be available for purchase online at Dillards.com. Naples Soap Co. bath bombs will be available in all Dillard’s stores by the middle of June.

Naples Soap Co. is a niche natural skin and hair care company, with U.S. handmade products using eco-friendly materials from sustainable resources, a press release states. In addition, products are never tested on animals.  

 

TACOS & TEQUILA, HOFFMANN FAMILY PARTNER

 Tacos & Tequila Cantina has partnered with The Hoffmann Family of Cos.and restaurateur Paul Fleming. Together, they plan to bring the cuisine across Florida and the nation. Kelly and Aldo Musico opened the doors to their first Tacos & Tequila Cantina in August 2013 and within six years, they opened two additional locations.

David Hoffmann, chairman of Hoffmann Commercial Real Estate and founder of private equity company Osprey Capital, is the largest private investor in commercial real estate in Naples. Paul Fleming has been associated with restaurants such as P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar and Paul Martin’s American Grill.

BUSINESS ETHICS AWARD NOMINATIONS OPEN

The Uncommon Friends Foundation has opened nominations for its 2019 Business Ethics Award, due by Sept. 1. Businesses in Lee, Charlotte, Collier, Hendry and Glades counties who consistently demonstrate a system-wide commitment to high ethical business practices are eligible. Businesses can nominate themselves or be nominated by a third party. The online nomination form and detailed submission guidelines are available at https://uncommonfriends.org

Finalists will be announced after the close of nominations and will be honored guests at the annual FGCU Business Ethics Roundtable, held on Oct. 30 and jointly hosted by Florida Gulf Coast University’s Lutgert School of Business and the Uncommon Friends Foundation. The recipient of the Business Ethics Award will be announced at the annual Uncommon Evening Gala, held on Nov. 14 at the Burroughs Home & Gardens in downtown Fort Myers.

NAPLES AREA CLOSED SALES UP IN APRIL

Closed sales during April in the Naples housing market increased 12.8 percent to 1,158 properties in April 2019 from 1,027 properties in April 2018. Broker analysts reviewing the last month’s Market Report released by the Naples Area Board of REALTORS (NABOR), which tracks home listings and sales within Collier County (excluding Marco Island), reported that April was a solid month with strong sales activity in both the single-family and condominium markets.

The report also showed nearly 1,000 properties went from active to either terminated, expired, or withdrawn in the Southwest Florida MLS during April, which directly impacted April’s ending inventory level as seen in an 11.1 percent decrease to 6,435 properties in April 2019 from 7,239 properties in April 2018. HILTON NAPLES CELEBRATES 100 YEARS WITH BEACH CLEAN-UP

Hilton Naples is partnering with Keep Collier Beautiful to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding of Hilton hotels by sponsoring a community beach clean-up day from 8-10 a.m. on June 1 at Clam Pass Park (corner of Seagate Drive and Clayton Road).
The world’s first global hotel company and its hotels worldwide are celebrating the 100-year milestone with local charitable projects and team members giving back to their communities.
The public is invited to join Hilton Naples team members in the family-friendly community beach clean-up event. Complimentary parking will be available. Afterward, participants are invited to a pancake breakfast celebration at Hilton Naples.
