Stevie Tomato’s Sports Page will be keeping its three Southwest Florida sports-themed restaurants but moving one of them.

Sometime in December, owner Albert Aiello will close the doors at his current location at 9510 Marketplace Road off Daniels Parkway near Interstate 75. The next day, he will reopen them at 4420 Colonial Blvd., in what used to be a Fuzzy’s Taco Shop.

Aiello just bought the 5,050-square-foot building for $1.9 million under the NYAC2021 LLC name from Terracap CW Partners LP.

Frank Kupiec, a senior broker associate with LandQwest, represented Aiello, while Danielle Robinson of Colliers International represented the seller.

“It took a while,” Kupiec said of the deal. “We were under contract for a while. There’s extra room in the back that the seller didn’t want to sell. That process is what made it take longer.

“It’s a growing corridor. I think Stevie Tomato’s, being a family-oriented sports bar, it was just a natural fit for them.”

Aiello bought his first Stevie Tomato’s in 2017 at 15215 Collier Blvd. in North Naples. It’s near the southwest corner of Immokalee Road and Collier Boulevard.

Eight months later, in 2018, Aiello purchased the location off Daniels Parkway and the one at 814 Pine Island Road in Cape Coral.

Aiello said he considered keeping the location off Daniels and adding the fourth off Colonial but decided to stick with three instead of expanding.

“I did consider it,” Aiello said. “But with anything like this, it’s a question of economics. The one off Daniels is in the middle of a bunch of hotels. It gets a lot of business from the airports and the hotels. You can think about the effect of that on a restaurant.

“Colonial is more of a neighborhood, so that was the objective. We bought the building that was Fuzzy’s Taco. That came with a lot of equipment, and it suits us really well. There isn’t a lot of retrofitting needed. It’s my intention to make it the Disney World of sports bars, how’s that sound?”
