Overall home inventory decreased by 60% in January compared to January 2020, according to a January market report released by the Naples Area Board of Realtors (NABOR), which tracks home listings and sales within Collier County, excluding Marco Island. Overall, pending sales increased by 39%, and the median closed price increased by 15% to $395,000, the report shows. Overall closed sales increased by 50%. MK Architecture is currently completing the construction documents for the Residences at 710 Goodlette-Frank Road in Naples, for Peter Shaheen of Shaheen Development, in Saginaw, Michigan. The project is located in the Commons Professional Park, consisting of 63 luxury apartments in two buildings, four stories over parking and five stories over parking, with large one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. There will also be a 4,600 square foot amenity center, resort-style pool, fire pits and lush tropical landscaping. The project has received all approvals from the City of Naples Planning Department, Design Review Board, FAA, and the Naples City Council. This project is slated to break ground for construction in the fall.


The Fort Myers Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) new Home Preservation Program will partner on March 17 with Habitat for Humanity of Lee and Hendry Counties. Homeowners with outstanding code violations may qualify to have projects/repairs completed by Habitat. The maximum assistance is $25,000 for owner-occupied dwellings with existing code compliance issues that need to be cured. The CRA and Habitat will be accepting applications April 1. The program is available for homeowners in the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard redevelopment area. For more information, email


Naples luxury homebuilder Leela Lifestyle Homes LLC has announced the construction start of a 4,525-square-foot single-family Gulf access waterfront estate pool home. Boyatt Designs created the floorplan, located in the North Naples community at Conners Vanderbilt Beach. The estate home will include a private elevator, a three-plus-car garage, two owners’ suites, two VIP guest suites, and a private office. The kitchen features Wolf and SubZero appliances, a large waterfall quartz island and a hidden walk-in pantry. Outdoor living areas are included on all three levels, including a resort-style pool deck with a champagne spillover spa and sun shelf. The residence is scheduled for completion in 2022.


Norris Furniture & Interiors recently collaborated with Florida Lifestyle Homes on the interior design for the builder’s new Summerland Key Model, located in Naples Reserve. The model boasts more than 2,900 square feet of living under air, along with three bedrooms, a great room with a built-in entertainment wall, a study, three-and-a-half baths, and a built-in wine bar. Norris designers Luanza Maitland and Sydney Warren provided a coastal color palette consisting of sea green and sand throughout the home.


Clive Daniel Home interior designers Jean Losier and Christine Loughery have designed the Lennar Homes Bougainvillea II model in the National Golf & Country Club at Ave Maria. The three-bedroom home features a large dining room with a built-in-bar, master suite, golf course views, and an outdoor area with a pool and built-in kitchen. Rich wood tones throughout the home are offset by soft textured fabrics and warm metallic accents.



LSI Companies Inc. brokered an approximately 4.94-acre commercial property for $1.15 million. The site was purchased by MyG Development LLC from JFK Ventures LLP. The property is located at 13461 Shire Lane, Fort Myers. The seller was represented by Justin Thibaut, CCIM and Alexis North of LSI Companies Inc. and the buyer was represented by Anthony Sartori of Diversified Real Estate Group Inc.


10981 Harmony Park Drive I LLC purchased 2,812 square feet of commercial space for $415,000 from Kurtis L. & Kimberly D. Wilson, located at 10981 Harmony Park Drive, Suite 1, Bonita Springs. Christine McManus, CCIM, SIOR of Investment Properties Corp. represented the seller and William V. Gonnering represented the buyer.


Crifasi Real Estate has announced a major redevelopment of the Green Tree Center located at the intersection of Airport Road and Immokalee Road in North Naples. A fresh coastal-contemporary design and the open-air concept are replacing the former Mediterranean design, transforming the property into more of a lifestyle center versus a traditional retail shopping center. This being illustrated by the restaurant spaces being offered coupled with an expanded outdoor dining area. There is significant interest in the modernized 51,000-square-foot former Sweetbay space with various potential tenants, and space may be divided, Jack Crifasi, of Crifasi Real Estate, says. Some of the property cosmetic updates include open-aired gables, large outdoor cupolas, custom lighting, expanded tile walkways, fountains with torches, as well as updated landscaping flora throughout the property. The NCH Wellness Center located within the center is also going through a massive multi-million-dollar renovation to be completed in June 2021. 7-Eleven is being built on the parcel just off Green Tree Center Airport Rd with a completion date in May. Renovations will be completed in 2021. Retail units are now available for lease by Crifasi Real Estate.


WDG Architecture | Planning + Interiors of Naples has been retained as the architect for the new Germain Lexus dealership. The project, located on Immokalee Road in Naples, will expand Lexus inventory and service capabilities in a new 80,000-square-foot facility. WDG Architecture has both luxury residential and commercial design studios with a local and national client base.


Construction is progressing at the new Scotlynn USA Division North American headquarters near Alico Road and Interstate 75 in the Fort Myers area. Structural steel has been completed along with framing on the first, second and third floors while electrical and HVAC are underway, reports Seagate Development Group, builder of the three-story, 60,000-square-foot building. Scotlynn, a company specializing in hauling refrigerated produce, is one of the fastest-growing perishable logistics providers in the United States. To see building progress photos, click here.


D&A Motorsports LLC leased 4,800 square feet of industrial space at 8413A Littleton Rd., North Fort Myers, from GBA Littleton 57 LLC. Gary Tasman and Shawn Stoneburner of Cushman & Wakefield | Commercial Property Southwest Florida represented the landlord and the tenant in negotiating this transaction.
Meristem Family Wealth leased 2,631 square feet of office space from FLP 800 LLC, located at 800 Laurel Oak Drive, Suite 301, Naples. Tara Stokes of Investment Properties Corp. represented the tenant and George Vukobratovich of Welsh Companies Florida represented the landlord.
North American Title Corp. leased 1,601 square feet of office space from Collier Place Holdings LLC located at 3003 Tamiami Trail N., Suite 210, Naples. Patrick Fraley, CCIM of Investment Properties Corp. represented the landlord and Jeff Clapper of Premier Commercial, Inc. represented the tenant.
America’s Title Corp leased 1,358 square feet of office space at 3507 Lee Blvd. No. 280, Lehigh Acres, from Lehigh Office LLC. Gary Tasman and Gretchen Smith of Cushman & Wakefield | Commercial Property Southwest Florida represented the landlord and the tenant in negotiating this transaction.

Stevens Construction Inc. has expanded operations with a fourth office location in Sarasota, announced President Mark Stevens. The new office at 1605 Main St., Suite 904, reflects client demand and the company’s strategy to broaden the geographical area served. Stevens Construction, which has three projects in preconstruction in Sarasota, is assisting these clients with project budgeting, constructability, scheduling and permitting to ensure the projects will achieve budget and quality goals before construction begins. The Sarasota location will be led by division manager, Shaun St. Dennis, a LEED accredited professional who has 20 years of commercial construction experience in Florida, completing more than 300,000 square feet in senior living, mixed-use, multi-family, hospitality and healthcare construction. Headquartered in Fort Myers, Stevens Construction expanded with an Orlando office in 2008 and a Tampa office in 2013.
The Sanibel & Captiva Islands Chamber of Commerce on Feb. 16 celebrated the opening of the Keller Williams Realty office at 2440 Palm Ridge, Unit 4, on Sanibel — a partnership between longtime Sanibel real estate agents Sarah Ashton and Chris Kirchner. The office had officially opened on Sept. 1, 2020. Kirchner has been working in real estate since he moved to Southwest Florida in 2009. He has been the recipient of the International Rising Star, RE/MAX 100%, and Executive Club Awards multiple times, along with additional awards. Ashton moved to Sanibel Island in 2001 and began selling real estate in 2003. She serves as the president of the “Ding” Darling Wildlife Society and was past president of the Sanibel & Captiva Chamber and the American Business Women’s Association local chapter.
Gulf Coast International Properties (GCIP) has welcomed Shirley Wazny to the firm. A licensed Realtor in both Florida and Michigan, the Northwood University graduate holds a Certificate in Executive Management from Notre Dame. Wazny was elected to the Board of Directors in Saginaw in 2004, serving more than 40,000 residents. She has a background in accounting/tax preparation and banking and has traveled the world as a VIP Executive handler. Wazny also participates in community-based organizations including Women in Leadership and the Optimist Club.
Tom Schaner has joined MK Architecture in Fort Myers as a project manager. Schaner graduated from the Maryland Drafting Institute in Langley Park in architectural drafting and later took a LEED Certification course. Schaner has 40 years of industry experience and has held positions such as draftsman, construction administrator, job captain and senior-level project manager. Schaner has worked on large-scale projects including commercial, residential, educational, institutional, medical, military, public works and governmental types.

Michael Brunoli

PBS Contractors promotes Michael Brunoli to vice president of operations, residential division, this month. Brunoli has an extensive background in construction management, with more than 20 years of experience managing all phases of construction. He has provided project managerial services for building types including business parks, office buildings, luxury condominiums, shopping plazas, multi-family, and estate homes. Notable projects of Brunoli’s include Humane Society Naples von Arx Adoption Center, Sunshine Ace Hardware East Trail, and the new home of Golden Paws, currently in pre-construction.

Ryan Benson, principal with A. Vernon Allen Builder, has been named chairman of the advocacy committee of the Construction Management Advisory Board for Florida Gulf Coast University’s U.A. Whitaker College of Engineering. The Department of Construction Management is committed to leadership in innovative construction education. Benson is the co-owner of A. Vernon Allen Builder, a luxury home builder in Naples, and a director for the Florida Housing Finance Corp., appointed by Gov. DeSantis in 2019. Benson earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Stetson University and his Master of Business Administration from Florida International University. This year he was awarded the Florida Home Builders Association’s Young Professional (YP) award and is a two-time national finalist for the YP award with the National Association of Home Builders. He has received the 40 under 40 award from Gulfshore Business.

Suffolk recently presented a sporting clay tournament benefitting Kids’ Minds Matter, a children’s mental health initiative by Lee Health Foundation. On Feb. 19, Suffolk, along with their sponsors and participants, raised $40,000 during a fun-filled day of sport clay shooting at the Bermont Shooting Club in Punta Gorda. Kids’ Minds Matter originated to raise awareness about the need for pediatric mental and behavioral health care services and to raise the funds required to make these services available in the region through Golisano Children’s Hospital, Lee Health and partners in Southwest Florida.
