Get set to see Turco Taco in a fresh setting as the local restaurant concept ventures beyond its red-roofed A-frame in downtown Naples. The gourmet taco shop is expanding with a second location targeted to open in September in North Naples. Turco Taco co-owners Yavuz “Oz” Ozturk and Ivo Milanoski have secured the space of the former 3 Pepper Burrito Co. and Motor City Coney Island Grill in Creekside Corners, the retail center anchored by Bone Hook Brewing and McAlister’s Deli on the southeast corner of Immokalee Road and Goodlette-Frank Road. Expect the same popular menu and dining experience as the original location at 410 9th St. N. “Whatever we have here is going to be over there, too,” Ozturk says. The restaurant offers a healthier take on Mexican-style street food with a fresh and simple menu. Favorite items include carne asada (grilled steak) and tinga con pollo (spicy chicken) tacos as well as sweet potato salad and Mexican corn. The new location at 1514 Immokalee Road, Unit 116, will offer delivery within 3 miles. Expect the second spot to be just the start of the expansion for the successful local venture. “I’m grateful that our business is growing,” Ozturk says. “It’s a perfect time to open more Turco Tacos.”
