Tropical Storm Elsa may have forced Cape Coral to put water shutoffs on hold, but anyone who is more than 60 days overdue paying their bill may find they do not have water service. More than 2,300 customers are more than 60 days overdue, and the city planned to disconnect 75 delinquent customers this week, mostly in lower southeast Cape Coral. The city wants to get overdue customers on a payment plan. The splash is back beginning at 10 a.m. Friday, July 9, for pools, waterslides, a lazy river and more. A special admission rate offered through the end of August is $8 for guests 48 inches and over and $4.50 for children under 48 inches.
