The vacant lot and former location of the Plaka restaurant in Times Square on Fort Myers Beach has sold for a record-breaking $3.65 million. The deal closed at more than $1,100 per square foot, setting a new benchmark for the area. The new owners are planning a redevelopment that will include a two-story restaurant with a rooftop component. A parking garage will be constructed next door. Joe Pavich Jr. represented the seller and the buyer in the transaction and connected the new owners with MHK Architecture for the project.
