Southwest Florida International Airport served 1,178,980 passengers in April, a 4% increase over April 2024, making it the second-best April on record, according to the Lee County Port Authority data. Despite the strong month, year-to-date traffic remains down 1.8%. Delta led all carriers in April with 238,915 passengers, followed by Southwest (183,938), American (171,114), United (159,436) and JetBlue (114,552). RSW recorded 10,215 arrivals and departures, a 9% increase, while nearby Page Field saw 12,664 operations, down 13% from last year.
