Fort Myers-based outdoor enhancement and weather protection company Storm Smart will present Blown Away, The Spirit of Recovery, a documentary created by nine-time Emmy Award winner John Biffar and Dreamtime Entertainment Digital. This documentary-styled film, narrated in multiple segments by NBC News Anchor Lester Holt, captures stunning footage of the fury of Hurricane Ian and the devastation it left behind throughout Southwest Florida. It also chronicles the love and bravery displayed by people who came to the aid of others in their darkest hours. The documentary will premiere at 7 p.m. May 24 at the Fort Myers Film Festival hosted at the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center in downtown Fort Myers.
