After two weeks of disruption following Hurricane Ian, Lee Health’s visiting hours returned to normal operations for most hospitals Wednesday. Visitation resumed at HealthPark Medical Center, Cape Coral Hospital, Golisano Children’s Hospital and Gulf Coast Medical Center. Because of elevator damage at Lee Memorial Hospital, visitation will remain restricted to compassionate care cases only for at least another week while it sorts through the safe navigation of people through its facility, including the additional capacity visitation would bring. In the West Zone, Student Enrollment offices are at Cape Coral High School, 2300 Santa Barbara Blvd.; and Island Coast High School, 2125 De Navarra Parkway in Cape Coral. The East Zone locations are Lehigh Senior High School, 901 Gunnery Road N. in Lehigh Acres; and Gateway High School, 13820 Griffin Drive in Fort Myers. The South Zone locations are Bonita Springs Middle School, 10141 W. Terry St.; and United Way of Lee County, 7273 Concourse Drive in Fort Myers. The Student Enrollment Office at Lee County Public Education Center, 2855 Colonial Blvd., in Fort Myers, will also be open to assist families from any of the district’s three zones. Social workers, Exceptional Student Education and bilingual support, will be available at each location.
