Charlotte County officials are betting on sports tourism to help fill hotel rooms this fall with the arrival of the 43rd annual Ad Softball World Series. More than 200 players and guests are expected to stay at Sunseeker Resort Florida Gulf Coast while generating additional restaurant and tourism spending across the county.
