Laishley Park Municipal Marina partially reopened in Punta Gorda after nearly two years, with 61 operational slips and temporary repairs in place following damage from hurricanes Helene and Milton.

Punta Gorda will soon decide the future of storm-battered Laishley Park Marina — keep it public, privatize it or sell it outright. A November workshop will determine which course city leaders choose.
