Estero plans to keep its property tax rate unchanged while proposing a $90.8 million budget for 2026-27. The spending plan includes a $69 million bond for parks projects and millions more for transportation and the Bonita Estero Rail Trail.

Cape Coral City Council approved $105.5 million in spending and borrowing for capital projects, including Yacht Club improvements, fleet facility repairs, road upgrades and park investments. The measures passed on 5-3 votes.
