Plans for Fort Myers’ Innovation Walk are taking shape after a series of public meetings. The proposed riverfront attraction would blend history, art and recreation while seeking to spur investment in the downtown River District.

Fort Myers has extended the closing date on a $7.8 million riverfront land purchase slated for Centennial Park, giving the seller additional time to complete IRS filings and marina slip credit requirements.
