Aldi is launching its next area grocery store Thursday in Bonita Springs. The 25,000-square-foot store is opening in the Springs Plaza space of a former Bealls Outlet store on the southeast corner of U.S. 41 and Bonita Beach Road. The Aldi at 8951 Bonita Beach Road will be open 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. The new grocery store eventually will offer curbside pickup. Other regional locations for the national grocer are already under construction. Aldi is building its fourth Collier County location at Addison Place retail center near the northwestern corner of Immokalee Road and Collier Boulevard in North Naples; and its fourth Cape Coral store at Veterans Parkway and Santa Barbara Boulevard. Aldi operates more than 2,000 stores in 37 states and is on track to become the third-largest U.S. grocery retailer by store count by the end of 2022, the company reports.
