The STEMLab’s recent opening at Miromar Outlets provides a new way to get children interested in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The STEMLab, inspired by the IMAG History & Science Center, offers programs for children and adults and will host camps during the summer. STEMLab is meant to be fun and educational at the same time. Its mission is to show children, especially girls, how STEM sparks curiosity and innovation. Hands-on activities and interactive exhibits include SOS Explorer (Science on a Sphere), Google Earth Wall, Animated Sandbox, DrawAlive Studio, Hurricane Simulator, plus STEM-to-go activities, toys and gifts. STEMLab, 10801 Corkscrew Road, Estero, is located in Suite 192 near WINK Playland and the Rock Climbing FunWalls.
