Suncatchers Dream jewelry and gift shop reopened at 630 Tarpon Bay Road on Sanibel Island after being destroyed by Hurricane Ian. The store hosted its soft opening March 4, along with neighbor Over Easy Cafe, but has been keeping its signature wares available to patrons during rebuilding. SanCap Chamber hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 10. Originally located in Periwinkle Place, Suncatchers Dream moved to its current home in 2005.  It is known for unusual handmade, small business products, including its line of Dune Jewelry and diverse selection of greeting cards. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays.
