The fishing piers at Harbour Heights Park, 27420 Voyageur Drive in Punta Gorda, will be closed for landward seawall replacement work Sept. 23. The park will remain open, but construction areas, including both piers and a portion of the parking lot, will be closed to patrons. The project is anticipated to be completed in approximately four to five months, Charlotte County officials said.
