Yamaha opened its newest Yamaha Music School in Fort Myers on Nov. 15. Owned by J. Steven Moore, conductor and music director for the Naples Concert Band and the SWFL Concert Band, the school at Gulf Coast Town Center will provide a creative space for student musicians in Southwest Florida to learn and create music together through a curriculum led by certified local instructors.  Beginner to advanced musicians can accelerate their musical abilities in the facility equipped with large, open classrooms, practice rooms and a reception space. School officials said the Fort Myers location will bring more than 25 jobs to the community. Nearly 600,000 students are currently enrolled in Yamaha Music Schools worldwide.
