Chick-fil-A at Six Mile Cypress Parkway and Colonial Boulevard in Fort Myers has temporarily closed its doors May 1 for construction. The popular fast-food restaurant plans to become a drive-thru-only location. Chick-fil-A officials said this decision was made to place an emphasis on efficiency and meeting the desire for mobile ordering. Construction will take five to six months. When the restaurant reopens, it will have a single lane entrance and two exit lanes, allowing customers to leave in either direction, WINK News reports.
