Boys & Girls Club of Collier County introduced Transfr VR, a virtual reality tool that helps teens explore careers through immersive simulations.
Aimed at students in grades 6–12, the platform allows users to experience real-life tasks in more than 100 career paths, including health sciences, construction, information technology and public safety.
After completing a questionnaire about their interests, students receive a list of matching careers and use the VR tool to explore them in depth.
The simulations are designed to build both awareness and confidence, helping teens identify potential career paths and develop job-specific skills.
Club officials said the tool offers hands-on learning opportunities often unavailable in traditional classroom settings, preparing members for high-demand, well-paying careers.
